"I didn’t realize how much I needed a wedding coordinator until I hired Allie. She thought of every detail under the sun to make sure my special day was exactly how I wanted it. Her personality is very sweet and you can tell Allie genuinely cares for you as a bride. She’s easy to work with and I wouldn’t have been able to have the wedding I had without her. Thank you Allie for everything you did for my husband and I on our wedding day!"

My church or venue already has a coordinator that we must use, why would I hire someone to do the same duties?
Many churches and reception venues offer a "Facility Coordinator" that you must use. I love working with onsite coordinators. They are there to insure everything that has to do with the venue is taken care of. Some facility coordinators do a bit more. But that doesn't mean you don't need the extra help. Most wedding planners/coordinators duties go above and beyond what our onsite coordinators do. My services, for instance, include steaming and pressing the bridesmaids and mother's dresses, the wedding gown, a full minute-by-minute itinerary of the entire day, starting at the moment of hair and makeup to a game plan for after the reception and delegation of picking up all the items, gifts, and décor. Also, addressing your Save the Dates, Rehearsal invites and Wedding Invitations in calligraphy. Assisting you in creating your overall vision, while keeping you in your budget, creating a layout of the reception, and keeping you on track up until the big day! Many onsite coordinators love when I'm hired, because they know, I will not step on their toes, and I will definitely be a huge help to them, as well as the bride and mother of the bride! But I can assure you they do not do all the duties a professional wedding planner/coordinator does. Side note, I give a discount for brides using venues that require you to use their facility coordinator.
I've already done most of the planning, why would I need to hire a planner?
That's great that you've done all the leg work. But keep in mind, on the day of the wedding who will be that person to expedite all the plans you've painstakingly taken care of? Remember, you'll be getting your hair and makeup done, so will your bridesmaids and mom. The day of the wedding has a lot of moving parts and you cannot physically be there to insure things are being taken care of. This is where your planner/coordinator comes in. She/he becomes your eyes, ears and legs to make sure everything is coming together. They are also there to fix any problems that may arise. A really good planner/coordinator will take care of issues and you'll never know anything bad happened!
